Internet Explorer 6.x
Use the following instructions to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer 6:
1. From the browser menu bar, click on the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Internet Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Security Tab
4. Click the
Custom Level button in the section labeled
Security level for this zone
5. Find the section labeled
Reset Custom Settings. In the
Reset to menu, select
Medium
6. Click
Reset
7. A warning box will be displayed with the message:
Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone? Click
Yes.
8. Click
OK in the Security Settings window
9. Click
OK in the Internet Options window
Use the following instructions to set up Internet Explorer 6 to accept cookies:
1. From the browser menu bar, click on the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Internet Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Privacy tab
4. Make sure your Privacy Settings are set to
High or below.
Internet Explorer 7.x
Use the following instructions to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer 7:
1. In the upper right corner of your IE7 browser, click on the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Internet Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Security Tab
4. Click the
Custom Level button in the section labeled
Security level for this zone
5. Find the section labeled
Reset Custom Settings. In the
Reset to menu, select
Medium-high
6. Click
Reset
7. A warning box will be displayed with the message:
Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone? Click
Yes.
8. Click
OK in the Security Settings - Internet Zone window
9. Click
OK in the Internet Options window
Use the following instructions to set up Internet Explorer 7 to accept cookies:
1. From the browser menu bar, click on the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Internet Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Privacy tab
4. In the section labeled
Settings, click the
Advanced... button
5. In the
Advanced Privacy Settings window, make sure the check box labeled
Override automatic cookie handling is NOT checked
6. Click
OK in the
Advanced Privacy Settings window
7. Click
OK in the
Internet Options window
Firefox 1.5.x
Use the following instructions to ensure proper image handling and to enable JavaScript in Firefox 1.5:
1. In the top menu bar of your Firefox 1.5.x browser, click the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Content icon
4. Ensure the check box labeled
Load images is checked
5. Be sure the box labeled
for the originating web site only is not checked
6. Ensure the check box labeled
Enable JavaScript is checked
7. Click
OK in the Options window
Use the following instructions to set up Firefox 1.5 to accept cookies:
1. In the top menu bar of your Firefox 1.5.x browser, click the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Privacy icon
4. Ensure the check box labeled
Allow sites to set Cookies is checked
5. Click
OK in the Options window
Firefox 2.0.x
Use the following instructions to ensure proper image handling and to enable JavaScript in Firefox 2.0:
1. In the top menu bar of your Firefox 2.0.x browser, click the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Content icon
4. Ensure the check box labeled
Load Images Automatically is checked
5. Ensure the check box labeled
Enable JavaScript is checked
6. Click
OK in the Options window
Use the following instructions to set up Firefox 2.0.x to accept cookies:
1. In the top menu bar of your Firefox 2.0.x browser, click the
Tools menu.
2. Select
Options from the dropdown menu
3. Click the
Privacy icon
4. Ensure the check box labeled
Accept Cookies from sites is checked
5. In the
Keep Until dropdown menu select
they expire
6. Click
OK in the Options window
Safari 2.0.x
Use the following instructions to enable JavaScript and Cookies in Safari 2.0:
1. In the top menu bar of your Safari 2.0 browser, click the
Safari menu.
2. Select
Preferences
3. Click the
Security icon
4. In the
Web Content section, ensure the check box labeled
Enable JavaScript is checked.
5. In the
Accept Cookies section, ensure the radio button labeled
Always is selected.
6. Close the
Security window.
